Skiing, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in winter, hiking and mountain biking in summer, the preserved bucolic landscapes of La Lécherette are a real playground for sportsmen and nature lovers. In the heart of the Vaud Alps, La Lécherette is the link between the Pays-d'Enhaut and the Col des Mosses.
The ski area of La Lécherette, linked with that of Les Mosses and Leysin, is ideal for families and easily accessible thanks to a car park near the ski lifts.
To enjoy the outdoors and nature, cross-country ski trails, snowshoes and winter hikes connect the village to Arsat and Mosses, or to the Monts-Chevreuils by a more sporty route. Well known to ski mountaineering enthusiasts, the Monts-Chevreuils hut offers a typical Swiss dish with a breathtaking view of the Pays-d'Enhaut and the vanilla range.
Pleasant for hiking all year round, the Pra-Cornet plateau (1650 m) welcomes the first cross-country skiers already in the early season. In summer, La Lécherette is the starting point for many hikes, for example to Lake Hongrin, which is popular with fishermen and bathers. More unusual, a local farmer offers summer visitors the opportunity to relax in a whey bath.
